About Us
While working at area nursing facilities, it became apparent to Dr. Silverman that most of the residents had little contact with anyone outside the facility and did the same routine daily. Few had visitors! With little outside stimulation and not much to look forward to, patients would withdraw and many became depressed and isolated.

Dr. Silverman noticed that the smallest changes helped brighten his patient’s moods!
While the facilities have dedicated and competent staff offering skilled care and a regular schedule of recreational activities, it also became apparent that the first budget cuts always affect the recreation department.
Dr. Silverman has made a commitment to finding areas of interest to these residents and providing them with personalized sources of stimulation. His vision is accomplished through volunteers who visit nursing homes on a regular basis and taking those residents able to, out for special events.
